This has been an interesting year. The real estate market has done a complete 180 with the buyers setting the pace. These days people don't want a "fixer upper". They want their move to be seamless. The buyers are very educated in the fact that they have the power. So for home owners it is essential that they get their property in the best condition they can.
Professional staging is a must in this shaky climate. No one can afford to miss out on a sale by putting off those suggestions made by a stager. Keep in mind that staging should be a tool for every agent.

 I was served a warrant from the MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION informing me that on March 3rd I will be arrested at the Starbucks at the Olde Towne Center on the corner of Carmel Rd and Quail Hollow at 10a.m. in the morning!

That's right, your's truly will be carted off to the Big House, otherwise known as Ruth Cris' Steakhouse on Fairview Road in the dangerous neighborhood of Southpark. I have been sentenced for the unbearable time of ONE HOUR! I will be force fed bottled water and gourmet bread until my bail is met.

Congratulations to Aubrey Keene on the sale of his beautiful home in Charlotte. This was a very unusual, custom designed home that, while stunning with great "extras" (two, two room master suites with a fireplace in each one) there were some design issues.

However, at the suggestion of his realtor and my constant supporter, Sherry Hopkins with Prudential, I staged his home to bring out the best features of the house.
